Life expectancy peafowl is 12 to 25 years

Their beauty is dark blue on the neck and long feathers.Male peacocks make beautiful sounds in order to attract female peacocks.The food is snakes, rats and lizards.Lays 3 to 5 eggs.Peacocks build their nests in the ground and lay their eggs.The is made in a hole covered with grass.They weigh 2.7 to 6 kg. Peafowl are protected under the 1972 Indian wildlife act.
